Evelina Grayver, MD is an Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a full-time physician in the Northwell Health System’s Division of Cardiology. She has a broad background in general cardiology, with specific training and expertise in women’s heart health, preventative cardiology, and acute and chronic cardiovascular disease including heart failure and electrophysiology. She has developed a specific focus on the unique and evolving field of women’s heart health. As the Director of the Women’s Heart Program at Northwell Health System’s Central Region and a member of the Katz Institute for Women’s Health Steering Committee, she has worked to foster well-rounded and individualized cardiac care for women. She is now dedicating much of her clinical and administrative time to empowering women to take control of their heart health at every stage of life especially during their reproductive years, thus launching the cardio-obstetrics program in September 2020.
Dr. Grayver is currently the President of the AHA Board of Directors in Long Island and is also an Honorary Surgeon for the New York Police Department.

Terrie Magro, RN, MA, transitioned from nursing at St. Francis Hospital to medical sales for a flexible schedule as she and her husband Paul began their family. Their sons, Michael and Marc, faced health challenges with Marc diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Michael with Leukemia in 2004. Following the heartbreak of Michael's passing, Terrie channeled her resilience into founding the Michael Magro Foundation, supporting children with cancer and families. Initially sparked by Michael's wish for video games during his hospitalization, the foundation has since raised over $3.5 million, benefiting pediatric cancer programs across 19 hospitals in 9 states. Terrie, a recipient of numerous awards including the Women of Distinction and Trail Blazers, continues to lead the foundation full-time. Her dedication earned recognition from prestigious organizations like the International Women’s Leadership Association and Association of Fundraising Professionals LI.
